Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the Caribbean Research and Innovation Collaboration for Knowledge Exchange and Transfer Community Interest Company, known as CRICKET. It begins by setting out CRICKET’s objectives and its capacity for achieving them and goes on to explain why Cuba is CRICKET’s starting point for facilitating collaborative research in the Caribbean region. Finally, lists of projects that CRICKET has facilitated, and that are currently being explored, are presented.
Resumen
El propósito de este documento es presentar Colaboración Caribeña en Investigación e Innovación para el Intercambio y Transferencia de Conocimientos Empresa de Interés Comunitario, conocida como CRICKET. Comienza por establecer los objetivos de CRICKET y su capacidad para lograrlos y continúa explicando por qué Cuba es el punto de partida de CRICKET para facilitar la investigación colaborativa en la región del Caribe. Finalmente, se presentan listas de proyectos que CRICKET ha facilitado y que actualmente se encuentran en exploración.
