This work emphasizes the strategy to confront Covid -19 from the Union management, taking into account the global dimension of the pandemic and the challenges it imposed on daily life. The unexpected arrival of SARSCOV-2, as it is already known, forced all institutions to implement emerging measures to be able to face and mitigate its effects. At this point, it is necessary to reflect on the actions developed by the Union of the University of Pinar del Rio "Hermanos Saiz Montes de Oca", as part of the strategy designed by the Institution for the confrontation and economic and social recovery during and after the pandemic
El presente trabajo hace énfasis en la estrategia de enfrentamiento a la Covid -19 desde la gestión Sindical, teniendo en cuenta la dimensión mundial de la pandemia y los desafíos que la misma impuso a la cotidianeidad. La llegada inesperada del SARSCOV-2 como ya se conoce obligó a todas las instituciones a implementar medidas emergentes para poder enfrentar y atenuar sus efectos. Llegado este punto, corresponde reflexionar sobre las acciones desarrolladas por el Sindicato de la Universidad de Pinar del Rio “Hermanos Saiz Montes de Oca”, como parte de la estrategia diseñada por la Institución para el enfrentamiento y la recuperación económica y social durante y después de la pandemia.
