Higher education has been a topic of great importance in recent years, it is a challenge that graduates have the skills and competencies during their academic training and at the time of graduation. There is a need to reflect on elements and actors in their training: student, teacher, educational models, materials, activities, evaluation, content, methodologies, technology, among others. For learning to be meaningful, it is important that the student's role be active, collaborative and autonomous in their teaching and learning process.
This paper presents an active methodological proposal, graphic organizers to promote active learning in the classroom, as an alternative for students to acquire tools that allow them to graphically represent information to strengthen learning. It also allows you to develop cognitive functions such as observation, selection, organization and presentation of information. It arises from the need of the students when they pointed out that they did not know what a graphic organizer was, they were not sure they knew how to do it, they probably knew it, in this situation the subject was prepared for presentation by the teacher.
La educación superior ha sido un tema de gran importancia en los últimos años, es un desafío que los egresados cuenten con las habilidades y competencias durante su formación académica y al momento de su egreso. Existe la necesidad de reflexionar sobre elementos y actores en su formación: estudiante, profesor, modelos educativos, materiales, actividades, evaluación, contenidos, metodologías, tecnología, entre otros. Para que el aprendizaje sea significativo, es importante que el rol del estudiante sea activo, colaborativo y autónomo en su proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje.
El presente trabajo presenta una propuesta metodológica activa, los organizadores gráficos para fomentar el aprendizaje activo en el aula, como alternativa para que el estudiante adquiera herramientas que le permitan representar de forma gráfica la información para fortalecer aprendizajes. También le permite desarrollar funciones cognitivas como la observación, selección, organización y presentación de la información. Surge de la necesidad de los estudiantes al señalar que no sabían que era un organizador gráfico, no estaban seguros de saber hacerlo, probablemente lo conocían, ante esta situación se preparó el tema para su exposición por parte de la profesora.
